The effect that you are seeing can’t be seen with the naked eye. The effect only works through the camera. Set up your camera and switch it to 24 fps. Set your tone generating software to 24hz and hit play.Turn on the water. Now look through the camera and watch the magic begin. If you want the water to look like it’s moving backward set the frequency to 23hz. If you want to look like it’s moving forward in slow motion set it to...
A lip dub is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. It is made by filming individuals or a group of people lip synching while listening to a song or any recorded audio. So we got ready a very special one for Mika who had just released his album celebrate. We got fans, motorcycles, football players, cheerleaders, dancers, skaters and much more....
Popsicle sticks are great for holding frozen treats, but did you know they’re excellent for creating a wave? It’s true! If you weave popsicle sticks together just right, you can create a chain reaction that will create a dazzling display of flying popsicle sticks...
Ben Stiller visited the show in order to promote his film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Inspired by one of the movie posters we decided to build a rotating movie set to create the illusion of being able to walk on the walls and the ceiling. It required intense planning. We had a tight budget to work with so we couldn’t get the whole structure to rotate on an motorized axe. Instead, we planed to pull the set and roll it around. We had just a weekend to get it the work done. So a team of welders and carpenters were working non stop. The furniture was fixed onto the floor and walls. Finally we made up an excuse. A fused light bulb would do the trick. The results were magical...
Even though the show is usually filmed in Madrid, we moved the entire set to London for one day in order to get Will and Jaden Smith promoting their film After Earth Building a whole new set in 24 hours was a challenge. I was part of the 40 people team that got everything ready. I was in charge of getting ready an action using Sony devices to promote the film. We wrote the script, scratched a storyboard and get our graphic designers to work on one different film for each device that must be synchronized. Then we rehearsed the movements until the final result was perfect...
To celebrate the show had been on air for 1000 nights we shoot an special video with all our collaborators. In each scene we had printed part of the set to cross it and appear in a different place. We shoot in different locations around the city including the snow center and a corridor with the gravity facing the wall and then we prepared a huge cake suspended by a crane that fell onto the big final celebration. It was a challenging production to get done in 3 days while we where shooting the life show as well....
The design of this sculpture was very special. The guest was Robert England and I had the challenge to create a portrait of Freddy Krueger made by 12 different pictures. After some work with Photoshop layers we came out with butterflies, cat prints, a Chinese dragon, a skull and so on. All together would be seen together as the face of the feared character....
